Bang was found liable, not only for unauthorized usage of copyrighted material in organic posts, but in posts made by influencers as well. Major hotel chains, educational institutions and other household names have faced similar actions by the biggest players in music.

Quince also tried to skirt the issue by uploading music directly, causing Instagram to display the audio as "original sound".

US courts have made it clear. Organic content is considered advertising and brands can be held liable for influencer content.

You may have less eyes on you than Quince, but music is still not the best way to stop the scroll and retain attention. Instead, consider a gamified hook such as this one.
